Central DuPage Health Workplace Giving Campaign

Central DuPage Health Workplace Giving Campaign donates $33,379 to United Way of the DuPage Area 

Winfield, Ill. (January 31, 2008) – The gift-giving season continues in DuPage County. Programs supported by the United Way of DuPage received significant donations from the staff and friends at Central DuPage Hospital and the Central DuPage Health Foundation. 

More than 1100 Central DuPage Health employees, Board Members and Physicians reached deep and collected $33,379 that will support United Way programs in DuPage County. 

“This is where we work and live and we care deeply about our community’s health; our Central DuPage Health Foundation matching gift program puts our charitable gifts to work with more power, here in DuPage where they are needed most,” explained Holly Kulikowski, annual programs manager, Central DuPage Health. 

The United Way of the DuPage Area works with Central DuPage Health consistently to address the health issues of DuPage County’s many families currently living 200 percent below the Federal Poverty Level: “Through the generosity of Central DuPage Health, UWDA can continue to help meet the needs of the medically uninsured, DuPage County’s fastest-growing population,” said Christine Lewis, Chief Professional Officer, United Way of the DuPage Area. 

Over the past eight years, Central DuPage Health Foundation has distributed more than $1.5 million to local charities though the Central Dupage Health Workplace Giving Campaign.
