Remembering The Forgotten Middle: Chicago Career Tech on ABC Channel 7 News

ABC Channel 7 News recently highlighted Chicago Career Tech’s unique efforts to alleviate the burdens of unemployment in Chicago by retraining middle-income workers and helping them develop the skills needed in high-demand technology careers.  United Way and CCT are putting this ‘forgotten middle’ in the spotlight and we are proud to be getting Chicagoans back to work!

The next class will begin their service-learning on November 1, and will be studying Digital Media and Social Media Marketing, Healthcare Information Technology, Windows Systems Operation Management, Project Management, Network Management, Technical Sales, Telecommunications, and Web Design and Development. If you are with a non-profit agency that has technology projects in one of these areas and would like to partner with United Way and the City of Chicago to host CCT participants at your site, please contact Carrie Newton at Carrie.Newton@uw-mc.org
