Nearly 2,000 organizations across the region run United Way fundraising campaigns each year, helping to generate roughly $70 million for addressing critical needs in our community. Earlier this year, we had the privilege of honoring many of our top supporters at our annual Community Celebration. Following are a few of those incredible honorees:

The United Way African American Initiative helps African American boys, ages 10-16, transition successfully to adulthood. This award recognizes companies pledge to match individual contributions in order to provide the strongest impact on African American youth.

Latino Initiative Challenge Grant Award
The United Way Latino Initiative ensures that Latino youth transition successfully to adulthood by helping them understand the importance of staying in school, creating a healthy identity that bridges two cultures and take on healthy family and social roles.
