Give Directly to United Way of DuPage/West Cook
This year United Way of the DuPage Area made another investment in the health and human services programs serving our 30 communities. Over $3.7 million will be distributed to 50 partner agencies that provide a myriad of health and human service programs. This amount will be used to fund programs that include early childhood mentoring and stay in school programs, specialized care for seniors and people with disabilities, temporary food and shelter for the homeless and victims of fire and natural disaster, victims of violence, and job placement and retention for adults.
Of course this would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of many volunteers, especially our Board of Directors and committee members. They have provided financial support as well as many hours assuring that informed decisions are made with our investments. These volunteers understand that supporting United Way is the most effective way to improve lives and strengthen our community.
DuPage County is a rapidly changing area. Please take a moment to read the following reports about the current trends and needs we are facing:

United Way supports a network of more than 700 of the most effective human care programs across the region. We take an “outcomes-based” approach, requiring all of our programs to clearly outline their goals and how they will measure their success – and then to demonstrate measurable progress toward those goals. To United Way, results are what matters.
