Endowment Matching Grant
United Way of DuPage/West Cook’s Endowment Matching Grant program is a unique opportunity for individuals to increase their gifts to meet the ever increasing needs in our community for years to come.
Through the generosity of an anonymous United Way donor, outright gifts to the endowment will be matched dollar for dollar up to $100,000. Donors are recognized as life-long members of UWDWC’s Legacy Society.
When asked why he felt compelled to encourage others to support United Way’s endowment our anonymous donor had this to say:
“An endowment fund at my college helped pay for my education when I had no other way. The gifts of those who contributed to the endowment are still helping students today, more than two generations later. My goal for enhancing United Way of the DuPage Area’s endowment is to have the same effect on my fellow residents- to have a fund that helps those in need today, tomorrow and 50 years from now. An endowment gift is a gift that keeps on giving.”
