Loaned Executives

Every year, talented individuals from organizations throughout Chicagoland temporarily join the United Way of Metropolitan Chicago staff. These Loaned Executives become part of the daily operations of United Way in a variety of campaign fundraising roles, developing their professional skills while contributing their expertise to improve our communities. Loaned Executives come to United Way from all sectors of the workforce, including corporate management, sales, healthcare, organized labor and non profit organizations.

The United Way Loaned Executive Program is a great opportunity for your business to LIVE UNITED by building a stronger workforce and a stronger community with a single investment.

How your company can participate… It’s easy — just loan one or more employees to United Way on a full-time basis for three to six months, while continuing to pay employee salary and benefits. Or, if you prefer, you can sponsor individuals by contributing financially allowing United Way to hire temporary staff.
