At this critical time for non-profit agencies throughout the country, we would like to extend our assistance to all Chicagoland social service agencies whose work addresses human service needs in the area of Income, Education or Health.
While we cannot provide monetary assistance to every agency in our area, we can connect you to volunteers who can assist your agency with its pressing needs.
Our corporate partners are on track to participate in more volunteer projects this year than ever before.
Additionally, we receive more than 2000 visits each month from community members interested in volunteer opportunities. With so many people wanting to make a difference in their communities, United Way of Metropolitan Chicago wants to ensure that your agency can benefit from the assistance of dedicated volunteers.
Our Volunteer Partner Information Form is below. The information you provide will be entered into a database of available opportunities that will guide potential volunteers to your organization based on availability, proximity, and interest area focus. Please fill out this form and return by email by February 15.
Also, National Volunteer Week is April 18th-24th, and United Way of Metropolitan Chicago wants to promote your opportunities to our volunteer base for our inaugural “Week of Caring.” Please keep in mind any large-scale projects that could feasibly take place during that week and tell us about them, so that we might include these larger opportunities in our Week of Caring promotions.
Finally, we have a large pool of people currently waiting to participate in mentoring opportunities. If your organization has mentoring and/or educational opportunities at any level of engagement, please include this information. These volunteers want to start immediately, and we’d love to point them in your direction.
Thank you for partnering with United Way of Metropolitan Chicago. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call us at 312.906.2263.
