Here are some small ways community members can have a big impact for those in need:

• If you brought your lunch to work one day a week for a year, rather than going out, you could donate $260 to help provide early childhood education programs so kids are prepared for school.
• If you rented a movie once a week instead of going to a movie theater, you could donate $390 to help provide tutoring and mentoring so youth can succeed in school.
• If you brewed your morning cup of coffee at home every day rather than buying coffee, you could donate $580 to help provide subsidized daycare so parents can afford to work.
• If you took public transportation every workday for a year, rather than paying for parking in Chicago, you could donate $4,550 to help provide job training and placement so parents can support their families.
