Committee members take their involvement to the next level by meeting on a monthly basis to plan programs and initiatives under the direction of the Executive Committee.

Committee members are asked to commit to a one-year term, starting July 2012 to July 2013. YLS Committees

Volunteering – Organize volunteer activities with United Way Partner Agencies for members to make an impact in the communities of greatest need.

Member Development – Establish relationships with new and current members to connect them to the mission and work of United Way through quarterly open house orientations, local volunteer fairs and networking events.

Issue Awareness – Educate members through events that increase awareness around critical community issues of income, education and health.

Special Events – Plan regular networking activities and identify sources for sponsorship and in-kind donations for fundraising events.

Communications – Grow and engage Young Leaders Society through social media, newsletters and other marketing vehicles.
